About CarePaks 101
CarePaks 101 is a mom-owned small business in Dayton, Ohio, created to help families support, encourage, and stay connected with their college students.
I personally select and hand-pack each care package with snacks, treats, and thoughtful extras. Families can add a personal message, making every package feel a little more like it came from home.
As a military spouse and mom of three college students, I also share practical parent guides and trusted recommendations shaped by real experience.
How CarePaks 101 Began
The idea for CarePaks 101 began with care packages designed to help recruiters connect with college interns. The first boxes traveled to students at the University of Texas at Austin, and what started as a small project grew into care packages for college students across the country.
Over time, CarePaks 101 expanded beyond the packages themselves. Supporting three college students of my own has shown me how often parents need practical information, trusted recommendations, and simple ways to stay connected as their students become more independent.
My goal is to make it easier to send meaningful encouragement and find useful help for the moments college families do not always see coming.
